Melissa Theroux

Director of Counseling and Graduate Support

Melissa Theroux is the Director of Counseling and Graduate Support at Brooklyn Jesuit Prep. Melissa received her bachelor's degree at Bucknell University in Neuroscience with a minor in Philosophy and a master's degree from Columbia University Teachers College in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling. She is in her 4th year at Brooklyn Jesuit Prep. Prior to joining the staff at BJP, Melissa interned at Richard R. Green High School and at the Fordham Career Counseling Center. She also worked as a Volunteer Advocate for the Crime Victims Treatment Center, offering crisis counseling to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. Melissa is an avid runner, and has enjoyed being the track coach at BJP for the past few years!
