Wherever we walk, we leave our mark

As we prepare for the start of school, I have been reflecting upon the Camp Montmartre theme that will carry us through this year: "Wherever we walk, we leave our mark." Students lived this theme at camp and experienced its power through community and conversations. We will use this theme to drive our Advisory Curriculum, our assemblies, and daily experiences. We leave a part of ourselves everywhere; we want it to be positive and impactful.

This year will mark BJP's 20th Anniversary. BJP has left its mark on many over the last twenty years! Brooklyn Jesuit Prep has undergone many transformations over the last two decades, but its mission is the same. We seek to educate our students and help mold them to be young people for others. It is sure to be a year of celebration and thanksgiving! I look forward to seeing what we can do as a school community to leave our mark on even more people and places.

We begin the 2023-2024 school year with many new faces in the building– students, faculty, and administration. Brooklyn Jesuit Prep is a place where no one is a stranger for long, so I anticipate that everyone will welcome our newest members with tremendous love and kindness.

I look forward to a year of growth, learning, and community.
