Jesuit Province Christmas Party

On December 16th, our students performed the Nativity at the Jesuit Province's Christmas gathering. The Christmas season is an opportunity for us to remind ourselves of the miracle of Jesus' birth. We were thankful to be welcomed and proud of our students for their gracious reenactment of the scene. After Mass, we joined members of the Province for refreshments, many of whom remembered our students from last year. It's important to us that our scholars know how wide their networks are. We are filled with gratitude for those who support and encourage our students, near and far.
First Annual Christmas Showcase

This year, we hosted our first annual Christmas Showcase at school. Students performed comedic routines, songs, dances, and even skits. We've always known our students have great talent! But seeing them on stage proved to families and us just how creatively capable they truly are. We were proud to welcome Michael '25 as our MC. We were also surprised by a few members of our staff who learned and presented a step routine at the show. Overall, we welcomed more than 20 acts throughout all grades and are humbled by the courage it took our young people to create and perform them in front of their peers!
Advisory Games

On December 15th, we held another successful Advisory Games at school. As we approach midterms, we challenge our scholars to find creative ways to problem solve and work together. These games are a mix of teamwork and studying, which also help students connect before holiday break. We appreciate seeing our older students work seamlessly with our younger ones to help them get further in each game. We also loved seeing teachers get in on the games to encourage students to think strategically in order to get further than their opponents. We were impressed with the sportsmanship each team had as they worked to win each challenge!
Epiphany Mass

This Tuesday, we held an Epiphany Mass. Students learned about the path the three kings took to visit the baby Jesus and their encounter with King Herod. They were asked to consider the literal and symbolic meaning of why The Magi might've taken a different path home. "How will you be different, now that you have encountered Jesus?" We are grateful to enter the new year and month reflectively and in community. Each day, we challenge our scholars to consider what they can do to be men and women for others. This principle guides their actions and challenges them to be considerate of the world and their peers not just during the holidays, but every day.
Thank you!

Your support allowed us to achieve our most successful first half of the year to date. Our work would not be possible without the many individuals outside of our walls who believe in our mission. Thank you for allowing us to continue providing a transformative education to our scholars. We hope to continue making BJP's impact tangible for many generations to come. Your generosity helps ensures this dream will become a reality.
New Jesuit Novice

Kevin Rolle, a Jesuit Novice, will join BJP for his "long experiment." During this time, he will engage in full-time apostolic service, immersing himself in our community. His role will support our campus ministry department as they educate our young people. In his first week, he has helped us with lessons, Mass, and has already become a great member of the team. Welcome Mr. Rolle! We are so proud to have you at our school! You can learn more about this year's Novices here.
