Roccario Legacy Fund
Jesuit scholastic Jake Braithwaite, SJ is descended from two highly intelligent women. Both Sally Braithwaite and Erica Roccario attended college, Rosemont College and the University of Paris, respectively. Easter Reflection
I hope you and your loved ones enjoyed your Easter holiday and have entered a joyous Easter season. This season represents the triumph of hope and love over cynicism and death. This year, I’ve been reflecting on the parallels between our society’s progress with COVID vaccinations and the Easter story. Placing myself in the disciples’ shoes, I imagine they felt a similar joy and possibility upon seeing that the stone had been moved from Christ’s tomb as I feel now.

A New Home in East Flatbush
We did it. We moved. Looking back, this summer was crazy. The deck was certainly stacked against us. A renovation, a move, and a pandemic? On top of the day-to-day of school life? Quite a combination. I’m grateful for the tremendous effort of everyone involved: from our building committee to our construction team to our staff and volunteers. The community made this possible. That said, it’s certainly something I’ll never do again.
