The BJP Approach
Our Program
Brooklyn Jesuit Prep students are exposed to a rigorous program designed to give them a strong academic foundation, a well-rounded character and the support needed for sustained success. Each program component gives our students a comprehensive, individualized educational experience focused on their academic growth, their character formation, and the care for their entire person.
The BJP academic program consists of three parts:

Extended Day
BJP’s school day runs from 7:30 every morning until 4:30 each evening. Our extended-day aims to provide multi-layered support to students, without any additional cost to families. Included in each day is extended care, resources, and learning to all students. This program included a counseling program, study hall, extracurricular activities, and more time with their schoolmates to further build meaningful and long-lasting relationships.

Graduate Support Program
Brooklyn Jesuit Prep continues its commitment to the education of its graduates through its Graduate Support Program, which is designed to ensure that graduates successfully complete high school and prepare themselves for college. The program begins in 7th grade as the director partners with families to prepare to apply to competitive, Catholic and private schools. In students’ 8th grade year, BJP works with students and families directly on their applications, ensuring admissions to schools that provide support and resources that best fit the needs of each scholar. After graduation, our director will visit students and work in tandem with them and their counselors to ensure a smooth transition and success journey in their new environments.
